"The day has been canceled due to lack of interest."
That's what Russell said when he woke up this morning. I could not agree more.
I think the amount of socializing we did in the past ten days has put us over quota for the year. And it's only March.
When I'm back in the groove, I'll share some pics from our Prince concert. The stretch Hummer that picked us up might have been as entertaining as the show. And that's saying a lot considering Prince started the show with a warning that if he played only his hits, we'd be here all night, so don't expect to hear everything.

Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999
Russell and I are going to see Prince in concert tonight. It's a friend's 40th birthday, and someone organized a large group of us to go, and a limo is picking us up at 6 pm. This is part of some silent auction a friend won, so it's going to be interesting! Our neighbors are going to think we are so radical.
I don't think I've listened to Prince since he drove a little red corvette. Better download something on iTunes so we don't embarrass ourselves! Then again, maybe admitting we are going to a Prince concert is enough. We already went to an 80s-themed party on Saturday night, where people were wearing terry-cloth headbands, mohawks, and leather vests. I'll admit only to wearing leggings and a sparkly shirt.
Between the party, Prince, and Charlie Sheen, I think I'll be glad to wake up Thursday morning in my own bed to the sound of two 21st century kids asking if they can play their Nintendo DS before school.
