We Officially Know Someone Who'll be Famous One Day

Our good friends Kirk and Gina have three daughters, who have grown up with my kids since birth. Their middle child, Mimi, recently expressed interest in acting. Her parents decided they would let her give it a try, as long as she kept up with her schoolwork and such (she's 7).

Well, several commercials later, she has just landed a role in the new Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook) movie, Safe Haven. She plays Lexie, the daughter of the main character, played by Josh Duhamel.

Already there is a shot of her on set on the US Weekly web site. It won't let me post here, but you can click on that link to see it.

Can't wait to see her in action! Look for the movie's release in early 2013.
